One step closer

We got our business account set up on Thursday. Somehow it makes our business seem that much more official. This week we'll set up Paypal and then we can start registering on sites where we can start selling. All very exciting!!!
I was in SanDiego Saturday to go to the Harvest Festival at the Del Mar Fairgrounds with my mother-in-law. Saw a lot of beautiful jewelry created by rather talented artisans -- inspiration to come home and create some of my own. I was thrilled to get a few unsolicited compliments on the necklace I was wearing, it's one of my favorites of those I've made and it always feels good to have others appreciate your work.

Stepping into the 21st century

I am so excited about this blog and want to thank my neighbor Jennifer for helping to set it up. Kris and I have wanted to have a site where we can sell our jewelry, but neither of us knew anything about how to make that happen. I'm one of those moms that has to get help from my kids for anything technical. They know more about my computer and cell phone than I do. Jen, however, had this blog up and going in like 15 minutes -- amazing. Thank heaven for nice neighbors. Kris & I hope to have links very soon to places you can check out and purchase our jewelry. I already warned Jennifer that I'll be over to ask lots of questions and get more help to make this blog everything we want it to be.
